SMM6 March 24: SMM has made a summary of the overhaul of stainless steel plants since May:

April 29 news, Qingtuo Shangke started a three-month maintenance, its monthly output of about 30,000 tons, maintenance period, the monthly output of about 10,000 tons.

The Posco Qingdao plant plans to carry out monthly maintenance for a period of one week from the end of June to the beginning of July. At present, the factory mainly produces 400 series cold-rolled products and has an annual capacity of 180000 tons of stainless steel cold rolling. According to constant calculation, the output affected by maintenance activities is about 4000 tons.

The ironmaking plant and stainless steel hot continuous rolling plant of Shanxi Taigang stainless Steel Co., Ltd. are scheduled to start on June 15, with a construction period of 105 days, which has a limited impact on its stainless steel output. The main construction contents include: electrical transformation of mechanical equipment such as five-blast furnace coal-making area, main belt, furnace top, dry dedusting, hot blast stove, hot continuous rolling mill 1549 line crimping, walking beam, transport chain area, finishing flying shear-F6 area, crane system, descaling system, rough rolling and finishing dedusting and other mechanical equipment, Hot strip mill 2250 line finishing rolling flying shear equipment, hot coil box equipment, high pressure descaling system, crimped chain area, heat output roller, bell furnace, dust fan, gas pipeline and other mechanical equipment electrical transformation projects, including 38 major construction items and 576 minor items.

June 18 news, a steel plant in central China plans to reduce production in July. At present, the total planned production reduction is about 30,000 tons, mainly affecting the output of 200 series and 300 series. In addition, a steel plant in South China plans to stop production and maintenance for half a month in July, which is expected to reduce the supply of stainless steel by 20,000 tons, mainly affecting 300 series and 400 series.

Zhongjin of Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. will start a 3-day steelmaking overhaul on June 24, which will affect the crude steel output of 0. 3-4000 tons of stainless steel. Due to the existing stock in the factory, the shipment of hot rolled stainless steel will not be affected.
